In order to encourage research collaboration with Swiss research groups, CTI provided an innovation grant to SunRegen to collaborate with the Brain Mind Institute (BMI) in École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The collaboration with EPFL will greatly expand the research capability of SunRegen.
The SunRegen EPFL collaboration benefits from the CTI Innovation Grant, which supports innovative partnerships between Swiss research groups and startups by providing funding, mentorship, and expert guidance to advance research projects. Additionally, the grant enables SunRegen to access advanced lab facilities at EPFL Brain Mind Institute, collaborate with leading scientists, and strengthen its research capabilities in regenerative medicine.
Through the SunRegen EPFL collaboration, the team will conduct joint studies on neurodegenerative disorders, share knowledge, and develop new therapeutic approaches. Furthermore, the partnership allows SunRegen to expand its academic network, gain visibility in the European biotech ecosystem, and attract potential investors.
In addition, this collaboration aligns with SunRegen’s mission to translate innovative research into practical therapies. For more details, visit Innosuisse. You can also explore SunRegen research initiatives to learn more about ongoing projects and advancements.
This collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of innovative treatments, promote knowledge exchange between academia and industry, and further strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leader in regenerative medicine research. It also provides opportunities for future funding, partnerships, and clinical studies, helping SunRegen bring novel therapies closer to patients.
